Network Tester vs WADBS
Side-by-side comparison of two open source alternatives
N
Network Tester
Is that open wifi really letting you access the web? Android Network Tester quickly validates you're connected to the real web (by downloading a dedicated 36 bytes file and checking its content). If the hotspot is actually redirecting you to a billing or authentication portal, you'll know instantly.
WADBS
WADBS (short for Wireless Android Debugging Bridge Switch) is an app that allows you to switch Android's Wireless Debugging feature on and off quickly. It provides several widgets and a quick settings tile to do this. You can also instantly connect to your PC using KDE Connect's clipboard sharing feature (see scripts).
